Born in small town NC. Ford was president, dad and both granddads were preachers, mom musician. Middle of 3 boys. High school in Charlotte, NC, college at Davidson (music composition). Year teaching English in Russia, one studying cognitive sciences in Edinburgh, one learning how to code in a DC suburb. Then chasing lesser apes in Thailand, teaching in Japan, touring around Southeast Asia, and finally to Oregon. Here I am.

What I love
I dig helping people help people. I like contributing to healthy communities and eating cashews. I like coding, ultimate, Scottish folk songs, economic theory, and waterfalls. I like Lewis Hoffman and John Abbe, my buds and collaborators on Wagn. I like Wagn. I like people who tell me frankly what bugs them about Wagn so we can all make it better. I don't like cilantro.
