I'm not sure if this would work, but if editor queries are implemented could I write WQL syntax in my STARwatchlist card (or a pointer to a search card) that would then add all cards I edit to my notify list?

Yes. You would add a pointer to a search card looking for cards you edited.

Ethan and i talked about this on the way from Portland back to Eugene, and i get know that expose card metadata in cards, at least for permissions metadata, is a Big Deal and not something we want to bite off right now. The list there might be useful for thinking about this WQL extension though.

Looks like member works, but not role ("NoMethodError: undefined method `role' for #") or editor ("RuntimeError: Invalid attribute editor").

I created http://sandwagn.wagn.org/wagn/has_roles+*rform to ease testing.

Maybe just a database problem, but http://sandwagn.wagn.org/wagn/John_Abbe+has_roles doesn't show me having the JA role. Not so weird, as somehow the role was created without a JA card (or maybe the card was deleted later?).
