Haven't tested this elsewhere, but I recently restarted the Catcomm wagn and it came up 500 on permission error on *css. Maybe I could have gotten to a login to fix it using a non-css layout? I hacked in <% User.as(:admin) do %> around the *css access which seemed to fix it.
*css should make System.setting call.
